Transportation to the resort is your first adventure, however, if you decide to travel to the resort, by car, ferry, speed boat, or hopper plane you will see so much of Costa Rica in your journey you will be amazed as to what you have already seen by the time you get checked in. Transportation can be added to the reservation for an additional cost.

This trip was unlike anything we’ve experienced! From the moment we arrived at Ylang Ylang Beach Resort, we felt like we’d stepped into a hidden paradise. The property is absolutely stunning — tucked into the jungle with a beachfront view that took our breath away. The clothing-optional vibe was welcoming and respectful, which helped us both feel super comfortable in our skin.
The events were so thoughtfully planned — we loved the fire dancers, the sexy games, and especially the beach bonfire. It was the perfect blend of connecting with others and spending time alone. Also, shoutout to the staff — they were attentive and kind, and the food was next-level delicious. We will definitely be back next year!

I joined the Costa Rica takeover solo and wasn’t sure what to expect, but WOW — what an empowering and unforgettable experience! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and respectful, and I never felt out of place. The beach is dreamy (and yes, fully clothing-optional!), and the energy during the parties and events was electric.
My personal favorite moment was watching the sunrise after a night of dancing, toes in the sand, surrounded by new friends. The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 instead of 5 stars is because I wish there were a few more guided group excursions—but honestly, it was still one of the best trips I’ve ever taken!

Our friend group decided to do something totally different for our annual trip, and the Complete Takeover in Costa Rica did NOT disappoint. The private resort setup was amazing—no outsiders, no awkwardness, just good vibes and gorgeous views. The event organizers crushed it. The pool parties, themed nights, and the sea turtle sanctuary visit made it feel adventurous and meaningful at the same time.
We made unforgettable memories and new friendships that we’re already carrying into future travel plans. If you’re open-minded and love a good time with great people, this is your sign to book it.
